2022
In May 2022, Chang Hsin worked part-time for a month at IT Park, an art space in Taipei.
Each day, apart from turning on the lights to open the exhibition and turning them off at closing, she spent her time sitting at the assistant’s desk, staring blankly at the old, faded gallery walls, or doodling in her notebook.
*IT Park is a long-standing contemporary art space in Taipei, founded in 1988 by a group of artists. It has played a vital role in the development of contemporary art in Taiwan, serving as an early platform for artists, curators, and cultural workers to exchange ideas and exhibit their works. Due to the aging condition of the venue and financial considerations, IT Park’s physical space has temporarily ceased operations in mid-October 2025.
